Earthquake Recap: Two Small South County Rumbles

Did you feel any of the earthquakes this week?

Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale just outside of Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at just 1.7, eight miles ESE of Watsonville

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the earthquakes on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
