There were just two small earthquakes that made waves on the Richter scale around Santa Cruz County this week, the largest measured at 1.9, east of Watsonville.
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either earthquake in this week on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
