Earthquake Recap: Two Small Rumbles in County Vicinity

There were two small earthquakes on the outskirts of Santa Cruz County this week.

Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale in and around Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at 1.4.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the two earthquakes in Santa Cruz County this week on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
