Earthquake Recap: Two Shakes Near South County

Did you feel either of the earthquakes this week?

Two earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale near south Santa Cruz County this week, the largest registering at a modest 2.1.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the quakes on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
