Earthquake Recap: Three Earthquakes Register...Barely

There was a trio of small earthquakes around Santa Cruz County this week.

Three tiny earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale around Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at just 1.2, offshore, 14 miles SW of Boulder Creek.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either earthquake on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
