Five small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale near Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at 2.1, between Watsonville and Gilroy.
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Sunday afternoon, no one reported feeling any of the earthquakes in Santa Cruz County this week on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
