Santa Cruz County Friday Night Live Youth Leadership Training July 9th - 11th

Santa Cruz County- Santa Cruz County Friday Night Live Partnership is providing a free Youth Leadership training July 9th-11th at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Watsonville. High School age youth are invited to earn community service hours while meeting others, gaining important leadership skills, and learning how to get involved in community service activities.

 

Santa Cruz County Friday Night Live youth will focus on alcohol and tobacco awareness and prevention, as well as safe driving practices. Students throughout the county will come together and discuss important issues in their community, and how to make real and lasting changes.

The training will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Watsonville, 215 E Beach St, from 9:45am to 3pm. Lunch, snacks and transportation for youth outside of the Watsonville area will be provided. Youth can use the training to fulfill community service hours.
