Would You Use a Pizza Vending Machine?

Instant pizza machines have taken off in Europe and are making their way to the U.S. Would you use it if there was one in Capitola or Soquel?

We are a fast food nation. That is not up for debate. Even anti-corporation Santa Cruz County has plenty of it. Just drive down 41st Avenue and you'll pass Taco Bell, Burger King, A&W, McDonald's and Panda Express.

But are we desperate enough for a quick food fix that we'd use a pizza vending machine?

Apparently Let's Pizza, a device that makes pizza in three minutes, has taken off over the last couple of years overseas and it's set to debut in the U.S. later this year. According to Inside Scoop SF, the dough is made in the machine in two minutes, then the pizza is flash-cooked by infrared oven in one minute. Check out the video above to see the whole process.
