Sprouts & Shutters: Calypso's Cove Coffee Shop Now Open

Sprout: There's a new spot in town to satisfy your caffeine craving. Calypso's Cove is a family owned coffee shop that opened at the end of February at 311 Capitola Ave.

If you haven't, here's what you'll find there, according to their Facebook page: Coffee, espresso, sandwiches, chocolate and other goodies like cinnamon coffee cake, raspberry brownies and lemon poppyseed scones.

According to the Capitola Village and Wharf Business Improvement Association's latest newsletter, Calypso's Cove serves up organic premium roast coffee from Batdorf and Bronson and also a drinkable chocolate.

Hours: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (closed Tuesday)
