Restaurant Week to Feature Four Mid-County Restaurants

Restaurants from Capitola, Soquel and Aptos offering special meals for Restaurant Week.

Twenty-five dollars might sound expensive for a one-person dinner, but when you consider the possibility of a multi-course meal at some of the best places that the county has to offer, that's what you call a deal. Actually, that's what you call Santa Cruz Restaurant Week. 

From Oct. 3-10, 31 restaurants from Davenport to Watsonville will show off their fare with three-course prix fixe menus demonstrating the highlights of their offerings from appetizers to entrees to desserts. At least three options per course will be provided at each restaurant.

This fourth annual Santa Cruz Restaurant Week features four eateries from the Capitola-Soquel-Aptos area. See their menu choices below:

1. Michael's on Main (Soquel)
Appetizers: House Salad, Soup of the Day, Hot Artichoke Dip
Entrees: Bistro Filet, Pistachio Crusted Salmon, Spinach and Artichoke Ravioli
Desserts: Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, Late Harvest Cheesecake, Mom's Brownie Sundae

2. Sanderlings (Aptos)
Appetizers: Clam Chowder, Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, Grilled Castroville Artichoke
Entrees: Rosemary Garlic Roasted Chicken, Pan Seared Scallops, Salmon
Desserts: Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, Caramel Apple Clafouti with Vanilla Ice Cream, Brownie Sundae with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce

3. Suda (Capitola)
Appetizers: Lettuce Wraps, Pepper Seared Tuna Tower, Suda Salad
Entrees: Grilled Salmon, Southwest Chicken Fettuccine, Hanger Steak
Desserts: Chocolate Lava Cake, Sorbet Trio, McConnell's Ice Cream 

4. Main Street Garden & Cafe (Soquel)
Appetizers: Padron Peppers, Little Gems, Butternut Squash
Entrees: Heirloom Tomato and Burrata Pizza, Ricotta Gnocchi, Papardelle Verde
Desserts: Flourless Chocolate Torte, Local Honey Panna Cotta
