Photo of the Day: Hunger Games Begin in Capitola

The book-turned-movie phenomenon is now in town.

The first book came out in 2008, but four years haven't been enough to stop the momentum of "The Hunger Games."

Opening day was Friday with a midnight showing, and the crowds are set to continue through the weekend.

If you're planning on checking out the movie at on 41st Avenue soon, there are four showtimes daily through Thursday, March 29. The times are as follows: 12:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
