Celebrate National Eat What You Want Day in Capitola-Soquel

What a great holiday to have here, where there's so much awesome food.

Believe it or not, May 11 is National Eat What You Want Day. In the spirit of caloric intake, Capitola-Soquel Patch has compiled some local favorites to help you celebrate this holiday.

, 4763 Soquel Dr.
Start the holiday with breakfast at this cash-only joint. Go ahead and be authentic - eat that bagel with lox and cream cheese. Every topping here is homemade.

, 207 Esplanade
The whole menu here is great. Try the spicy chicken wings off of the appetizer menu. They are unlike any other wings you have ever had.

, 215 Esplanade
Depending on your order, this place can be pricey. If you're looking for the most bang for your buck though, without a doubt your choice has to be the pork ribs served with coleslaw and garlic fries. That dish alone can feed three people.

, 231 Esplanade
The seared Ahi tuna is a perfectly-executed dish. The baked brie is another fan favorite, and its nutritional value certainly fits with the theme of the holiday.

, 3555 Clares St.
This one doesn't exactly fit with the rest, but it might be the best match for the holiday. After all, it is an all-you-can-eat buffet. It even offers healthy selections. But really, what better place to celebrate National Eat What You Want Day than with an unlimited quantity of food?
