Book Cafe Announces Donation Perks

The local business has included incentives to donors to stay afloat.

The cornerstone to getting the ball rolling on the  is donations from the community.

The  announced last week that it is  to hold literary events and lead education efforts in the community. Books Belong will be funded by grants and local donations. For the 501(c)(3) to get off the ground, the business is hoping to raise $285,000 by the end of June. Without that money, the Book Cafe will be forced to close its doors.

So the local literary institution has put together a donation system in which locals are rewarded for their contribution to the Book Cafe. The most valuabe recognition of donors that they are offering is a dedicated name plate within the store. Higher-value donations mean bigger name plates in better sections of the store. They have devised the chart below to show appreciation for donors. Donated Dollar amounts have been labeled with names of famous authors.
