On 5/6/13, the Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office received a report for a 13 year old female runaway who had been sexually assaulted by a 22 year old man, Carl Rigor.
On 5/7/13 an investigator spoke with the victim and discovered her 15 year old friend had also been sexually assaulted by Rigor’s friend, Eric Ichtertz, age 21. Both victims were acquaintances with Rigor and Ichtertz.
On 5/8/13, Carl Rigor was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a child Under 14 years old and his bail was set at $50,000.
On 5/13/13, Eric Ichtertz was arrested for Annoying a Molesting a Child. Ichtertz posted bail and will appear in court on the charges at a later date.
