View Finder: Aptos High School Disc Golf Course
Aptos High School's Disc Golf Course offers 18 holes and a fine expanse of meadow, eucalyptus groves and steep terrain.
The Aptos High School Disc Golf Course may not be as large as the world-famous, 27-hole course at Delaveaga, but it holds its own as a fun and varied course. Eighteen 300-yard holes are spread throughout shady glades, a eucalyptus grove and meadowland. A summit similar to Delaveaga's top of the world is the highest point and best part of the course, providing a pretty view and a chance to launch your disc from above the tree tops into the meadow below.
Occasionally, disc golfers lose their discs. When this happens, they may put their game on hold for hours to search. This is because disc golfers become attached to certain discs, usually the ones that have been broken in perfectly or are particularly lucky. Writing your name and phone number on your discs is a good idea.
