Get Out: Put Your Worries Aside in Capitola-Soquel

Book readings right here in town, some art and music in neighboring Santa Cruz and a different kind of food festival are part of the mix to take your mind off your flood worries, at least for a couple of hours.

We suggested , now Capitola-Soquel Patch has some ideas for you to take your mind away from the flooding, at least for a few hours. A couple of events are right here in Capitola-Soquel. Hear from a local author and attend a party in her honor; listen to another critically acclaimed author read from her book. Then consider a short drive over to Santa Cruz for art and music or a longer ride to San Jose for an unusual food festival.

She will be here to talk about her new children's book "Chicken, Chicken Cuck!" But this is more than a children's event. Capitola Cafe assures us this will be a party in Nadia's honor, with food and music, too.
