Northern California Renaissance Faire 2011

Bacchanal-Masquerade

September 24th & 25th

Join the villagers of Willingtown as they celebrate Bacchanal and the traditional feast of Michelmas. This weekend is a visual treat as garlands and masks are donned by men and women. Patrons are encouraged to wear a mask and/or garland. A beautiful selection of both can be found at the faire, or you may choose to have a mask painted on.

Beware of pirates invading the village of Willingtown. Sir Francis Drake is looking for new crew members. Children 7 and under can meet the Queen and Captain Drake in our annual wee pirate costume contest.

Look closely and you may see fairies and other mystical creatures this day. Perhaps you will even catch a glimpse of Titania, the Queen of the Fairies.

Our little village of Willingtown comes to life as our annual Market Faire welcomes talented and exotic performers from throughout the globe to our streets and stages. The Entertainment is non stop all day.

The streets and stages boast music and dance from traditional Morris and English Country, to Celtic and Gypsy Tribal. Swashbuckling swordfighters render women defenseless with their charm and skill.
