Capitola Village's Art & Music at the Beach is now a tradition more than 25 years old, and starting June 3 it's back yet again.
"It went from being informal and on an irregular basis to once a month, and back then it was free for us to sell our art," artist John O Thomson, one of the first artists to start selling his work on the Esplanade, told Patch last year. "The city started charging us for the space a few years ago."
From now until Aug. 19, art vendors will line the Esplanade every other sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. while music plays from 2 to 4 p.m. See the scheduled performers below.
