American Idol Alum Headlining Twilight Concert Finale

After 11 weeks, the Twilight Concert Series is coming to an end.

It's hard to believe it has been 11 weeks since the began in Esplanade Park. Sad but true, the last of the summer concerts is set to take place Wednesday featuring rock band The Digbeats.

The show, sponsored by , has seating on a first-come, first-served basis and is free to all in attendance.

The Digbeats feature lead vocals from , who was cut from the wild card round of the reality competition's third season.

The Santa Cruz-based band also includes Sam Nigh, Phil Welty, Shorty Syres and Kevin Scott. 

They sing classic rock and soul tunes, including well-known cuts from the Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt, Aretha Franklin and many more. Take a listen to a preview of The Digbeats on the band's Facebook page.

While the Twilight Concerts are reaching a close, and has already ended, there is still one movie on the beach to be enjoyed on Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
