The Barretts Go for Ice Cream

After a doctor visit, Barry Barrett takes his son Nicholas for ice cream and then to the hobby store.

Capitola Patch caught up with Barry and Nicholas Barrett while they were savoring the psychedelic flavor of Baskin Robbins' wild sherbets. They didn't stop whittling at their sugar cones while they answered some questions.

Capitola-Soquel Patch: Where do you live? And, what are you doing today?

Barry Barrett: We live in Aptos. We just came from the doctor. We saw some spots on Nicholas’ nose. Luckily he’s OK. The doctor looked in his ears and throat and decided to take some swabs, because it looked like he might have strep throat. The ice cream is a reward for getting swabs stuck down his throat.
