Dog Owners Give $1,000 to Local Libraries

The spring dog festival in Soquel will now benefit libraries across Santa Cruz County.

Contributed by Santa Cruz Public Libraries:

The Coastal Dog Owners Group (C-DOG) has donated $1,000 to Santa Cruz Public Libraries' Tales to Tails program. The funds were raised at this spring's highly successful C-DOG Spring Dog Festival.

"This generous donation from C-DOG will allow the Library to expand this important literacy program," said SCPL Programs & Partnerships Manager Janis O'Driscoll. "The gift of a dog's attention along with a book to read...what could be better?"
