Local Healer Uses 'Body Dialoguing' at the Beach

Renee Tennant reads client’s energy and plans a strategy to release emotional blocks.

It’s a well-known fact that Santa Cruz County has an abundance of wellness practitioners, especially acupuncturists, chiropractors and therapists, to name a few. What may not be known is that Renee Tennant, a Capitola intuitive facilitator with a degree in Bioenergy Balancing, offers services to her clients during two-hour walks on New Brighton Beach.

The inspiration for a beach walk came while walking on the beach to lose her own belly fat. It became apparent that just exercising was not going to release the fat, and Renee applied her own energetic skills to herself. The beauty of the ocean and grounding effect of walking barefoot facilitated her own process.

Renee took this concept one step further by offering to meet with her clients for beach walks. Whether on the phone or on the beach, she works with the vibrational patterns that the body expresses, and translates the information through bio field fluctuations in response to questions.

Put more simply, she begins by asking simple questions, which help her tune in to the client’s energy. Then she initiates body-dialoging, or receiving images which supply answers to questions that come up during the collaboration.

According to Renee, anyone can learn to tune into energy, which is everywhere.

“We have all had the experience of noticing an identifiable level of energy after walking into a room. My effectiveness with receiving the energy comes from approaching all clients from a position of neutrality," she says. "There are no 'bad' energies or 'bad behaviors,' but choices. By not judging, the body is willing to share."

When receiving information from a client, she sometimes has to “play around with it” in order to translate the actual meaning. Taking a too-hard stance can limit energy, while lightness on the subject can open more opportunities.

While working with a widow, the energy of the woman’s late husband was still present after several years. (Renee explained that after the body dies, energy can stay on in the physical space). She received information from this energy that because an issue with his wife was unresolved, he chose not to move on until he made it right with her. The client verified the truth of this fact and gave her late husband permission to cross over.

Currently, Renee Tennant works with clients on the phone or on the beach in the Capitola area. A typical appointment lasts two hours. A two-hour beach walk is $100, and a phone session is $100 for the first hour and $60 for the following hours within each new session. If needed, please ask about her sliding scale.

The work is not diagnostic in nature, nor is it a substitute for medical, psycho-therapeutic or chiropractic care, although it will work in conjunction with and greatly enhance any and all of these disciplines.

In conclusion, she states, “As you fine-tune your biofield, your physical body will begin to match the new patterns and signals and reflect those changes. My work with you is aimed to allow your body to return to its optimal function. You set the pace for achieving that. I open up avenues to facilitate the process.”

I met Renee at her booth at the annual COBHA Wellness Fair, held downtown in August. In the few minutes that my 11 yr old grandson and I chatted with her, it was evident that she was tuning in to our vibe.

If you are seeking deep physical, emotional, spiritual and mental healing on a vibrational level, Renee just might be exactly what you are looking for. However, be prepared to look at what's really going on inside; she gets to the heart of the matter!
