Taste of Soquel ~ Fifth Annual

A Taste of Soquel has raised over $26,000 (107,600 meals) for families in Santa Cruz County!  The Fifth Annual A Taste of Soquel promises to be a fun filled day of Food & Music for the Common Good promises to be a fun filled day of Food & Music for the Common Good!   The Congregational Church of Soquel and the Capitola/Soquel Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring this event to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Save the date and talk it up with your family and friends.

Live Music: There is something for everyone! Ralph Anybody, KPIG DJ, will emcee the live music by renowned local musicians.  This year a Taste of Soquel is pleased to feature crowd favorites from the first four years:

11:00 am  Farmers Market String Band,

12:25 pm  Bryn Loosley and the Back Pages,

1:40   pm  The McCoy Tyler Band,

3:00   pm  Flor de Caña! (New to our stage!)

 

Local Restaurant participants: Café Cruz, Aldo's, Carpo's, D'Anna's Deli, Main Street Garden Café, Sawasdee, The Fish Lady, Aldo's Bakery, will be serving up food tastes especially prepared for this event.  

 

Soquel Vintners: Soquel Vineyards, Bargetto Winery, Hunter Hill Vineyard & Winery , and Poetic Cellars host wine tastings.

 

Introducing: Descretion Brewing!

 

Farm Fresh!:  Featuring local, farm fresh tastings from Fogline Farm, Cherryvale Farms and Jeff Walls' Family  Honey.

 

Raffle: Over 60 local businesses have donated raffle prizes.  Raffle tickets will be available at the event.

 

In addition to all of that, there will be the KidZone, complete with miniature golf, games, crafts, music, dancing, snacks and the list goes on!  You'll also want to check out the hospitality table with complimentary coffee, tea, lemonade, ice water and food offerings from the Bagelry, Donut Station and others.
