New Leaf Selected as Top "Right to Know Grocer"

People in Santa Cruz and consumers around the world deserve the right to know what’s in our food!

New Leaf Community Markets has been a leader in the movement for labeling, enabling us to make informed choices.

On June 27, New Leaf was selected as one of the top “Right to Know Grocers” in the United States by the Organic Consumers Association (OCA).

New Leaf was selected for educating the community about genetically engineered foods (also called GMOs) and their risks, their active support of the California Prop 37 food labeling ballot measure, GMO labeling currently in their stores, and their progressive GMO food policy (http://bit.ly/NewLeafGMOpolicy).

Congratulations New Leaf and thank you for working for our right to know! Read more here: http://bit.ly/newleaftopgrocer
