Soquel Elementary School Students- Need some help with homework? Parent volunteers will be available on Tuesday through Friday mornings, from 8:15 - 8:45am in the school library to help students finish their homework. The program coordinator is Thelma Lax.
The Study Buddy Program for Soquel Elementary has two parts. First, teachers match up students in their classes for the purpose of providing homework assistance to each other, when necessary. This may entail one student calling another to find out what the homework is or to get assistance with understanding the homework. Second, parent volunteers make themselves available in the school library on Tuesday through Friday mornings, to offer help to any student who needs extra assistance with their homework or schoolwork.
