Participate to Eat Free at the Business Showcase

Eat and drink wine for free at the Business Showcase on Thursday by telling us your favorite business.

Thursday marks the 2012 Business Showcase, organized by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce as well as the Aptos Chamber of Commerce.

The showcase, located at the Capitola Mall from 3:30 - 7 p.m., includes booths and tables from upwards of 150 local businesses and groups, and also features local food and wine samples.

While entrance to the event is free, access to the edibles is generally $5. Luckily, the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce has supplied Patch readers with 20 free passes to the eating area. Tell us your favorite local business in the comments below to become eligible for a free food pass. Then come visit the Patch booth at the event to pick up your pass.

We hope to see you Thursday! Comment to eat free below!

New Leaf Markets.... Love the high quality organic produce, use of local vendors/farmers, and the always helpful/friendly staff. Just wish there was a south county location....

Re Capitola-Soquel-Aptos, I'd say Dharma's. Impressively healthy food, beautiful plants and flowers, nice employees and the most efficient compost, recycling and leftovers to-go system Ever!

Favorite local company would have to be "shaw woodworking", they make the best custom cabinets ever! But then I would have to say "blanco basura" for just the pure Santa Cruz vibe. Food, I would have to go with paulas for breakfast.
