The Capitola City Council has called a special meeting, separate from its regularly-scheduled February gatherings, for Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.

The purpose of the off-week meeting is to hear the Mid-Year 2011/2012 Fiscal Year Budget Financial Report, to review last year's Budget Principals and for the council to determine Budget Principles for the 2012/2013 Fiscal Year. 

There will also be room in the agenda for public comment, as there is at every council meeting.

The council will meet again the following Thursday at 7 p.m. for its regularly-scheduled meeting.
